Safari Lagoi and Eco Farm aims to inform and educate the public on the need to protect and conserve the immense biodiversity and natural heritage of Indonesia. As a refugee center for endangered Indonesian fauna, the animals and birds in the safari are mainly rescued from the illegal pet trade and exotic meat markets. Others were either sick or injured and subsequently nursed back to health on the premises. These residents are mostly judged to be incapable of survival if released back in the wild and hence are provided with continued quality care at the center. Dedicated to wildlife and environmental conservation, the establishment maintains close partnerships with like-minded individuals, institutions and government bodies including the Indonesian Ministry of Nature Conservation and Forestry.
